A Skill To Last A Lifetime
Come and learn a life long skill in creativity and sewing. Fun and Educational, sewing is a great practical skill, sewing helps with problem solving skills.
Making your own clothes is about enjoyment, unwinding, and taking a little bit of time out for yourself from our hectic work life schedule. Having a creative outlet that gives you something functional to wear and to be proud of, that you have made yourself. It's a skill and an art form and a creative hobby to be proud of.
We will run through sewing basics, how to thread a machine, wind on a bobbin. Go through basic sewing stitches, cutting out a pattern, how to lay fabric correctly.
All sewing machines and materials are provided. Come and learn fun projects, we will work on projects such as pin cushions, tote bags, pillows, bunting, soft toys, drawstring bags, scrunchies, skirts, dresses, aprons and more. Costs includes use of sewing machines. Fabrics, threads and accessories are supplied (however you are welcome to bring in your own choice of fabric if preferred)
